Sustainability is a top priority at Maersk FPSOs. As many of our tasks involve challenging production environments, one of our key concerns is the protection of our most important assets: our employees. Another is protecting the environment we work in.
We continuously strive to improve our sustainability performance in all our activities. Maersk FPSOs strives to exceed requirements set by local and international regulators - regarding all aspects of our business as well as our involvement with local and global communities. We promote sustainable solutions in close cooperation with our clients and business partners, and we always follow the principle that prevention is better than cure.
At Maersk FPSOs, all employees are entitled to a safe and healthy workplace. We are committed to and work actively towards ensuring this through methodical workforce involvement. We focus on lowering risk by conducting behaviour-based safety training. Maersk FPSOs strives to promote a safe and healthy work environment by complying with the principles of Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) 18001 and by performing regular work environment reviews.
Maersk FPSOs' environmental management system is certified in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard, documenting that we systematically manage the environmental aspects of our business and continuously improve our performance by setting objectives, training personnel and monitoring environmental impacts.
Our activities and leadership are guided by the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group values and Principles of Conduct. These outline our commitment to responsible business practices and set out what can be expected of business conducted under the Maersk name.
