The Business Development Department initiates and implements a wide variety of groundbreaking projects in areas related to purchases of marine fuel. We provide our expertise in project innovation and management to the entire A.P. Moller - Maersk Group, and effectively generate impact across the value chain.

Our team consists of a handful of highly talented employees based in the Copenhagen office. Each member is responsible for a portfolio of projects but draws heavily on the expertise of the rest of the team. Since we all come from very different backgrounds both in education and working experiences, we build a strong and dynamic team environment in which we truly value the positive impact of diversity.

Our success relies on a unified mindset for innovative problem-solving, and a collective drive for changing the industry. By leveraging the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group's unique position in the shipping and oil industries, we are continuously developing projects that redefine the way things are done in the industry.

Currently the team is working on projects in the Far East, Latin America, Europe and North America. These projects cut across the entire Group and our team works closely with Maersk Line, Maersk Tankers, APM Terminals, Maersk Maritime Technology etc. We are proud to combine our industry-leading expertise and unique exposures to offer our business partners unbeatable competitive advantages.
